Cybertruck innovations

Steer-by-wire — the first mass-production steer-by-wire system, enabling small steering inputs at low speed and faster, more predictable response at higher speeds. Combined with rear-axle steering, Cybertruck turns tighter than most much smaller vehicles.

Adaptive air suspension — up to 43 cm of travel, with dedicated on-road and off-road modes that adjust ride height to the surface and your driving style.

Off-road ready — up to 41 cm of ground clearance and a locking front differential.

Dent-resistant construction — an ultra-hard stainless-steel exoskeleton that absorbs impact energy.

Impact-resistant glass — withstands a 70 mph baseball impact or class-4 hail; acoustic glass keeps the cabin quiet.

Electrical architecture — a 48V low-voltage system (lower mass, lower losses) paired with an 800V high-voltage architecture for higher efficiency and much faster charging.

Lockable cargo bed — up to 1,100 kg of payload, for work and for family trips.
