Dimensions and Weight of the Cybertruck: Will It Fit in Your Garage and Parking Space?

In brief: The Cybertruck is approximately 5.68 m long, 2.20 m wide without mirrors (about 2.4 m with mirrors), and 1.79 m high in standard suspension position. It weighs about 3.1 tons, and in Poland, it is registered with a GVW of 4,250 kg. It will fit in most single-car garages and underground garages, but it is about 70 cm longer than a standard parking space. Below are all the dimensions and what they mean in practice.
External Dimensions of the Cybertruck
- Length: approx. 5,683 mm.
- Width: approx. 2,201 mm body; approx. 2,413 mm with mirrors extended.
- Height: approx. 1,791 mm in standard position; the pneumatic suspension can lower the vehicle on the highway and raise it off-road.
- Wheelbase: approx. 3,635 mm.
- Ground clearance: up to approx. 430 mm in the highest position.
- Turning circle: approx. 13.3 m – thanks to the rear-wheel steering, it's less than the length suggests; in the city, the Cybertruck turns tighter than many large SUVs.
Bed and Interior
- Bed: approx. 1.83 m long and approx. 1.3 m wide between the wheel arches; with the cover closed, the space is sealed and protected from rain. There is an additional lockable compartment under the bed floor.
- Payload: approx. 1,100 kg.
- Cabin: five seats, flat floor, 18.5" screen at the front, and a screen for rear passengers. There is more legroom in the back than in most SUVs.
- Front trunk: none – the technology is under the hood; instead, the bed and the compartment beneath it take on the trunk's role.
Weight: How Much Does the Cybertruck Weigh and What Does It Mean
The curb weight is about 3,100 kg (AWD version) to about 3,130 kg (Cyberbeast). In Poland, the vehicle is registered with a gross vehicle weight of 4,250 kg. This results in three practical things:
- Driver's license: with a GVW over 3.5 t, a category B license is sufficient only due to an exception for alternative drive vehicles – having a category B for at least two years and an entry in the registration certificate. Details in the text Cybertruck and Category B Driver's License.
- Parking with weight limits: some underground garages and multi-level parking lots have a limit of 2.5 or 3.5 t – check the sign at the entrance. Most newer facilities allow 3.5 t per space, which is fine with a curb weight of 3.1 t.
- Bridges and ferries: standard restrictions apply to much heavier vehicles; they are not a problem for the Cybertruck.
Will the Cybertruck Fit in a Garage?
A typical Polish single-car garage is about 3 × 6 m with a door 2.4–2.5 m wide and 2.0–2.1 m high. The Cybertruck will fit (1.79 m height, 2.2 m width with mirrors folded), but with 5.68 m length, there will be little space at the front and back – in a 6 m long garage, about 15 cm on each side. In a 7 m garage, it's already comfortable. Mirrors fold automatically, and cameras and sensors make precise parking easier; many owners park backward so the bed is near the door.
In underground garages, a height of 2.0–2.1 m is not an issue; watch out for steep ramps (long wheelbase) and spaces near pillars – a width of 2.2 m is more than most SUVs.
Parking in the City
A standard parking space in Poland is 2.5 × 5.0 m. The Cybertruck is about 70 cm longer, so in perpendicular spaces, it extends beyond the line – just like any large pickup or van. In parallel spaces, it needs about 6.5 m of free space. Cameras around the vehicle and rear-wheel steering make a big difference here; after a few days, parking ceases to be an issue.
Comparison with Other Large Vehicles
- Tesla Model X: approx. 5.06 m length, 2.0 m width – the Cybertruck is about 60 cm longer and 20 cm wider. More in the article Cybertruck or Model X?
- Ford Ranger / Toyota Hilux (double cab): approx. 5.3–5.4 m length and 1.9 m width – the Cybertruck is slightly longer and noticeably wider, but lower.
- Mercedes V-Class: approx. 5.1–5.4 m length – similar size class, similar parking challenges.
Check the Dimensions Live
It's best to come with a tape measure or your garage dimensions: in Katowice (ul. Francuska 184) and Częstochowa (ul. Główna 140), you can view the vehicle, fold the mirrors, raise and lower the suspension. Schedule a visit on WhatsApp.
