After the work is completed, the vehicle is registered in Poland, receives a Polish registration certificate (the vehicle is classified as a passenger car), and can be insured like any other car.

In Poland, there is a regulation allowing a person holding a category B driving license for at least 2 years to drive a vehicle powered by alternative fuel (e.g., electric) with a DMC exceeding 3500 kg but not exceeding 4250 kg — provided that the exceeding of the 3500 kg limit results from the use of alternative propulsion, and the appropriate information is noted in the registration certificate.
